About the Trinidad and Tobago Youth Ambassadors

Established on 12 August 2014, the Trinidad and Tobago Youth Ambassadors (TTYA) is an independent, non-partisan, incorporated non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening youth representation, leadership and participation in national development. TTYA brings together young people from across Trinidad and Tobago to engage with decision-makers, advocate on issues affecting their lives, serve their communities and contribute to national, regional and international dialogue. Through national and district structures, it advances youth development through leadership programmes, policy advocacy, diplomacy, volunteerism, community initiatives and strategic partnerships, including the National Children & Youth Assembly and National Girls Assembly. Governed by a Board of Directors and led by a National President and National Executive, TTYA provides the institutional leadership behind NYAPTTO, its flagship youth development initiative.
